Google Play Store for Android 4 4 Leaked!

With so much hubbub about the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat, we can’t help but get excited when new information is coming out. First, we got to see the Nexus 5 on the Play Store for only $349, though it didn’t last long. And now, we’re getting a good look at what Google is doing with the Play Store app on Android for what will probably be the KitKat release.

This new leaked build is unfinished but does show off some new features. Instead of a bunch of options being under the action overflow menu, there is a new slide out menu with Google’s new Hamburger button. It contains options like my apps, My wishlist, and Redeem. There is also what looks to be an account switcher.

Other than that, there isn’t too much else different. The overflow menu is simplified, which is great. However, it is still unfinished. Rumors say that the Play Store will get a redesign along with KitKat using those cards Google is so fond of. And luckily, whenever it’ll be released, it’ll be pushed to all phones Froyo and up, so everyone can get the new Play Store no matter the Android version. Are you looking forward to a card redesign?
